Free Partner-Program Assessment

Score your partner program across the six dimensions we audit in every engagement — strategy, recruitment, onboarding, co-selling, operations and metrics — and get a straight read on where you stand and what to fix first.

For each statement, pick the answer that is honestly true today. 1 = not in place · 2 = ad hoc · 3 = defined · 4 = working and measured.

01 Strategy

1. We know which partner types we want — and which we don't — and why.

2. Partner revenue has a written target and an owner with the time to hit it.

02 Recruitment

3. We have a repeatable way to find and approach the partners we want.

4. Prospective partners see a clear path to their own revenue before they sign.

03 Onboarding & enablement

5. A new partner gets a 90-day activation plan, not just a welcome kit.

6. Partners can self-serve training, certification and up-to-date collateral.

04 Co-selling & pipeline

7. Deal registration exists, is used, and conflicts are settled by written rules.

8. Our own sales team knows when and how to bring partners into deals.

05 Operations & tooling

9. Partner agreements, onboarding and lead flow run in a system, not in inboxes and spreadsheets.

10. Our tooling followed a defined operating model — not the other way around.

06 Metrics

11. We track partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline separately.

12. Partner activation — signed to first registered deal — is measured and reviewed.

What the four bands mean

Foundation 12–21

The program exists on paper or in a few relationships. Before recruiting more partners, define who you want and how they make money with you.

Emerging 22–30

Pieces are in place but run by hand and by heroics. The gap between partners signed and partners active is usually the biggest lever.

Scaling 31–39

A working program with real pipeline. Growth now comes from tightening co-selling, moving operations into a system and freeing the partner leader's time.

Optimised 40–48

Defined, measured and working. The question becomes capacity: more partners, new markets, or a leaner way to run what you have.
